At a time when negative equity was widespread and homeowners were walking away from their properties, he developed the resilience and determination that would define his career. As the top-performing agent at Foxtons Estate Agents, he honed his skills in one of the world’s most competitive markets before returning to Perth in 1994 to bring his vision to life—what is now CY Property.
Fast forward to 2025, and under Richard’s leadership, Caporn Young Estate Agents is celebrating 24 years of helping clients achieve their property goals. Having navigated nearly every market condition imaginable—from mortgage interest rates of 17% to global financial crises, mining booms, and the uncertainty of a worldwide pandemic—Richard’s experience is something that money simply cannot buy.
