Property renovation gurus Ronnie and Georgia Caceres are the faces of a campaign to launch the new
reiwa.com, WA’s leading property search site.
The timing couldn’t be better for the ex-Block couple, who are on the hunt to purchase their next investment property in Perth.
“We’ve been looking for our next project, but it's a tough market at the moment with properties getting snapped up very quickly, so we’ve been using reiwa.com to do our research and get independent price estimates on our short-listed properties,” said Georgia.
“For the last few weeks Ronnie’s been bombarding me with reiwa.com listings day and night, he’s literally obsessed! But it’s very exciting, we are close to finding a property and this time with the market outlook so strong, we’ll be holding onto it instead of flipping it.”
REIWA CEO Cath Hart said Ronnie and Georgia, who were fan favourites on The Block 2017 and 2021, were the perfect fit for the ‘Get Closer To Home’ campaign.
“Choosing a home is one of the most important decisions anyone will make in their lifetime, and advice from local experts is crucial. As the Real Estate Institute of WA, we wanted local faces for our campaign who are as passionate about WA property as we are,” Ms Hart said.
At a critical time for property hunters, reiwa.com has been redesigned and redeveloped as a future-proof platform offering market-leading tools and proprietary REIWA research, free-of-charge.
As the local site up against national behemoths, reiwa.com’s unique features punch above their weight. Interactive maps show Landgate data, property zoning, location of utilities, any planned changes to the area, as well as a journey planner and nearby lifestyle amenities.
Property hunters can also compare multiple properties and suburbs at a glance, with the latest data on median pricing, time on market, demand for an area and demographics.
“The maps are incredible,” said Ronnie, a former real estate agent in Perth.
“You don’t want to be planning to put in a pool and suddenly find a sewer line runs right through your backyard. You can also see if a property is zoned for subdivision without going to Landgate separately, as it’s all in the reiwa.com maps.”
The site’s rebirth is the culmination of two years of work with leading independent digital agency equ (formerly Equilibrium) on the design, and NGIS on the interactive maps.
reiwa.com exclusively features WA property, with thousands of listings covering residential, commercial, rural and small business sectors. The upgrade reaffirms REIWA’s position as the peak body for the sector in WA.
“REIWA was WA’s original PropTech pioneer. We established our first listings site in 1995 and have continued to invest in innovation to support the industry and the community,” Ms Hart said.
“We couldn’t be prouder to bring the new site to fruition, at a time when demand is high, supply is low, and local insights and research are more important than ever.”
