Sales transactions in Perth last week were down 1.9 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 958 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were up 2.2 per cent compared to the week prior and unit sales were up 14.4 per cent, while land sales were down 62.6 per cent.

There were 5,433 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is 4.6 per cent higher than the previous week. This can be attributed to house listings increasing 5.3 per cent compared to the week prior, unit listings increasing 1.7 per cent and listings for vacant land increasing 7.3 per cent.

Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is 14.4 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 10.4 per cent higher than levels seen a year ago.

In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 2,142 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is 4.6 per cent up on the week prior. Last week's rental listings figure is 9.6 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 12.5 per cent higher than a year ago.

REIWA members reported 616 properties leased last week, which is 7.7 per cent higher than the previous week, 1.7 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 7.3 per cent higher than a year ago.
