Top 3 Awards For Excellence Finalists announced

The finalists have been revealed for the 2023 REIWA Awards for Excellence (AFE), ahead of the winner announcements later this month.

With more than double the nominations of last year, the record number of submissions were rigorously assessed against strict judging criteria by a panel of industry experts to determine the finalists in each category.

The winners will be announced at the AFE Gala Dinner on Thursday 26 October at Crown Perth, with a fabulous night of entertainment including a prohibition-style cabaret performance by Sass Jazz, featuring Perth Cabaret Collective’s nine-piece jazz band and powerhouse vocalist Olivia Grace.

WA’s most exclusive real estate awards recognise excellence and best practice for both individual and agency achievements across residential and commercial real estate, property management, sales, buyer’s agents, marketing and operational support. There are also awards for community service, sustainability and innovation.

“The judging criteria for the REIWA Awards for Excellence goes beyond sales transactions or the size of rent rolls,” REIWA CEO Cath Hart said.

“These are the people and agencies who lead the way and set the standard for our industry. Their success is not always measured in dollars; it is a much deeper contribution to the people they work with, the customers they serve, and the communities they support.

“Competition was tough with so many submissions this year, and I encourage those who didn’t make the top three finalists to keep doing what you’re doing – demonstrating excellence, striving for continual improvement, and nominate again next year.”

Across Australia, the AFE winners at State level each year are eligible to enter the National Awards for Excellence, which will next be held in Tasmania in February 2024. In 2023, WA’s Kristy Copping from Perth Property Management took out the National Property Manager of the Year award.
