Sales transactions in Perth last week were up 6.7 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 1,010 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were up 6.0 per cent compared to the week prior and unit sales were up 11.3 per cent, while land sales were down 1.3 per cent.

There were 4,101 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is 1.5 per cent higher than the previous week. This can be attributed to house and vacant land listings remaining similar to the previous week, while unit listings increased 4.7 per cent.

Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is 6.2 per cent higher than four weeks ago but 44.0 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.

In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 1,733 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is similar to the week prior. Last week's rental listings figure is 11.4 per cent lower than four weeks ago but 1.2 per cent higher than a year ago.

REIWA members reported 597 properties leased last week, which is similar to four weeks ago but 9.1 per cent lower than the previous week and 8.6 per cent lower than a year ago.
