Ashleigh Goodchild and Trent Fleskens elected to REIWA Council

1 October 2026

"REIWA President Suzanne Brown congratulated the three Councillors and said they would bring valuable experience and perspective to Council."

Ashleigh Goodchild and Trent Fleskens have been elected to REIWA Council following the 2026 Council Election, with Mike Tucker continuing as the representative for the South-Western Regional Electoral Area.

The results were announced at REIWA’s 108th Annual General Meeting, held at REIWA House on 30 September.

Nine members nominated for the two General Electorate positions, with Ashleigh Goodchild, Managing Director of SOCO Realty, and Trent Fleskens, Managing Director of Strategic Property Group, elected by eligible Ordinary and Life members. Mike Tucker was the only nominee for the South-Western Regional Electoral Area and was elected to Council unopposed.

REIWA President Suzanne Brown congratulated the three Councillors and said they would bring valuable experience and perspective to Council.

“Ashleigh has made a significant contribution to our profession over many years, particularly in property management, leadership and supporting the development of others,” she said.

“I’ve known Ashleigh for a long time and have seen first-hand the energy and generosity she brings to the industry. Her recognition this year through the inaugural Kareena Ballard Achievement Award and the REIA Operational Leadership Award reflects that contribution, and I know she will bring the same commitment to Council.

“Trent brings a broad perspective across property, including development, buyer advocacy, settlements, finance and property management. He is closely engaged with the issues affecting our market and profession, and I look forward to the perspective he will bring to Council discussions.

“Mike has already made a valuable contribution during his time on Council, particularly in representing the South West. I’m pleased he will continue that work and bring the experience of regional members into Council discussions.

“Together, they bring a strong mix of experience, industry knowledge and perspectives to Council. I look forward to working with them as we continue to guide REIWA’s direction and represent members across WA.”

Chiara Pacifici completes three-year term

Clr Chiara Pacifici completed her three-year term on Council at the AGM after choosing not to seek re-election.

Ms Brown thanked Clr Pacifici for her contribution to the Institute, including her role in establishing REIWA’s Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Network Committee.

“Chiara has brought thoughtful insight and a strong member perspective to Council over the past three years,” she said.

“She was also instrumental in establishing REIWA’s new Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Network Committee, helping create a forum for members to engage with an increasingly important area for the profession.

“I want to thank Chiara for the time, energy and experience she has given to REIWA and for her contribution to Council and the Institute.”
