Sales transactions in Perth last week were down 3.1 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 689 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were down 4.6 per cent compared to the week prior, while unit sales were up 7.9 per cent and land sales were down 17.2 per cent.

There were 6,333 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is 2.4 per cent higher than the previous week. This can be attributed to house listings increasing 2.1 per cent compared to the week prior, unit listings increasing 3.8 per cent and listings for vacant land increasing 1.3 per cent.
Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is 10.5 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 78.6 per cent higher than levels seen a year ago.
In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 2,326 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is similar to the week prior and four weeks ago. Last week's rental listings figure is 6.7 per cent lower than a year ago.
REIWA members reported 671 properties leased last week, which is 7.7 per cent higher than the previous week and 2.6 per cent higher than four weeks ago but 9.7 per cent lower than a year ago.
