- Deed
- An instrument (ie document) whereby an agreement is made, obligation entered into, or property conveyed, and is under the seal of a party thereto.
- Disbursements
- Money paid out. Expenditures, eg advertising expenses, rates and taxes, insurance, etc paid by an agent on behalf of an owner.
- Distress
- The seizure of someones goods to compel him to fulfil his obligations, eg the seizure of a tenants goods by his landlord in order to compel him to pay overdue rent.
