Some homes simply have more to offer. Set behind secure gates in a prime Maylands location, this beautifully renovated, three-bedroom home offers the privacy of an individual home complete with no adjoining walls to other townhouses.
And then there's the location...
No need to sell a kidney to pay for fuel and parking! The Swan River and riverside bike path are just minutes away, with Perth CBD around a 15-minute bike ride away. Pedal a little quicker and you'll get there even faster! It's a location that makes getting out and about easy, whether you're heading into the city or enjoying the river you can leave the car at home. Public transport is also a few minutes’ walk away.
Inside, the home has been fully renovated throughout, combining generous proportions with high-quality finishes, soaring ceilings and beautiful Blackbutt timber flooring. Plantation shutters feature throughout much of the home, while double glazing to the master bedroom adds another level of comfort.
The front room is a wonderfully flexible space that could be used as a sitting room, home office or separate dining room, depending on how you choose to live.
At the heart of the home is the impressive kitchen, featuring quality appliances, generous storage and stunning stone waterfall benchtops. The spacious bedrooms include a luxurious master suite with its own beautifully finished ensuite.
The family bathroom is equally impressive, with full-height tiling, a stone waterfall vanity and a sumptuous soaking bath. A third WC downstairs adds extra convenience. Both bathrooms have programmable heated towel rails to make your towels nice and cosy in the Winter.
And then there's the attic. Yes, an attic... in a townhouse! Accessed by proper attic stairs, it provides an exceptional amount of additional storage. Add the large separate storeroom, second shed and under-stair storage, and you may finally have somewhere to put all those things you don't need every day but can't bear to throw away!
The private, low-maintenance garden is another highlight. The generous patio creates an ideal space for entertaining, complete with electronic outdoor blinds for shade and protection when required. There's also plenty of room for a spa complete with 3 phase power and an existing pole for a shade sail.
A Velux skylight in the stairwell brings natural light and fresh air into the heart of the home, while ducted reverse cycle air conditioning upstairs and a new split system downstairs keep things comfortable year-round.

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.
The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.
Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
