We emigrated as a family from Durban South Africa ten years ago. We first immigrated to Adelaide South Australia, but found it to be too dry and hot for us so we then moved to Albany. We love the town and the friendly community orientated people.
Albany is a beautiful town with the most amazing beaches. I have been a Property Manager for close to 5 years now, and made the move to First National in April 2017. I find First National to be a very family orientated company who value their staff and accomplishments.
I have been married to my husband David for 35 years and we have a 28 year old daughter who is teaching in Perth and a 22 year old son who is in his final year as an apprentice Mechanic. We have family scattered all over the world so have enjoyed traveling extensively to visit our family.
Before emigrating from South Africa, I worked in the Telecommunications industry for 25 years as a Telecommunications Electrician, where I completed a 4 year apprenticeship straight out of school. My husband David is a Fitter and turner by trade working FIFO.
My passion and hobby is recreating the beautiful garden I left back in South Africa, which is quite a challenge here in Australia.
