More than 35 Years Industry Experience
Ray Stocker is no stranger to the Margaret River region or the real estate scene.
He established a highly successful career in the district spanning some 35 years, before spending a few years in Perth and Albany working. He was excited to return to the region in 2015 and join JMW Real Estate, along with wife and fellow property adviser Raelene Stocker.
Ray and Raelene could not wait to reunite with family, friends and the enviable Margaret River lifestyle, and begin a new chapter in their careers.
Their goal was to deliver a comprehensive, customised and consummate client experience and they have achieved just that through JMW Real Estate Margaret River.
Career Highlights
Ray became a licensed valuer in Perth in 1979 then moved to Margaret River where he furthered his career in property valuation and sales, became a licensed settlement agent and licensee and director of his own real estate company.
He valued and sold a broad range of property and acquired a portfolio of developer clients, focusing on large scale land subdivisions. He sold a half share in the business in 1988 and continued as Licensee and manager, specialising in subdivisions, strata company management and special projects.
He sold his share in 2007, continued as licensee until 2008 and then became an independent property adviser. Ray was able to apply his invaluable previous experience and contacts to assist local, interstate and overseas clients cut though the complexities of buying, selling, developing or leasing property in the region and ensuring their investments were maximised.
Business and Community Involvement
Ray operates from a base of experience unrivalled in the South West Region.
He is well known locally, not merely for his role in developing the region, but also as a reliable and credible source of property and development-related information.
He has been involved in major local subdivisions and projects, participated in many community organisations and committees and is a former REIWA Busselton Branch Chairperson and South West Councillor and Vice-President.
