From a young age, I would feign illness so that my father would take me along with him to work. He was a property valuer, working for a building society in Johannesburg, South Africa in the 80’s and I was obsessed with other people’s houses! Great big colonial mansions I thought they were, filled with art and antiques. I loved going into them, learning from him how he found value in the homes Little did I know that I was learning to sell homes at this young age, and that my passion was fuelled even then, for what I love to do today!
After working numerous jobs, from completing a printing apprenticeship and working on home design magazines, to public relations in a private hospital, I finally got my break working at South Africa’s leading Real Estate Company, Pam Golding Properties. I have never looked back and have enjoyed great success both internationally and here in Australia.
Since starting my career in Real Estate in 2001 I still work hard every day, striving to be the best not only for myself and my clients, but for my family too. Without compromise.
I am a mum to three amazing kids. I hope that I am successfully educating them to step into the world with grace to be successful adults. My husband Billy and I are first generation immigrants from South Africa, and I hope that we have instilled into them the value of sacrifice, to be humble and patient and kind. I hope that I always lead them by example.
Educating myself on how I can best serve my clients is imperative in this industry and I will never take for granted the privilege it is to work on selling homes, leading buyers to their dream homes, and establishing relationships that will be remembered for all the right reasons! I hold close the philosophy I was taught when I joined the industry, to always have empathy and integrity, and to strive for knowledge through experience.
