Sales transactions in Perth last week were up 1.8 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 828 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were up 4.8 per cent, unit sales were similar to the week prior and land sales were down 13.5 per cent.

Perth’s highest sale price: Claremont – $3,999,000

Perth’s lowest sale price: Bayswater – $270,000

There were 3,253 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is similar to the previous week. This can be attributed to house and unit listings remaining relatively stable while listings for vacant land increased 2.3 per cent.

Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is 7.3 per cent lower than four weeks ago and 40.1 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.

In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 2,481 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is similar to the week prior. Last week's rental listings figure is 6.7 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 13.9 per cent higher than a year ago.

REIWA members reported 690 properties leased last week, which is 18.6 per cent higher than the previous week, 9.7 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 6.6 per cent higher than a year ago.
