Sales transactions in Perth last week were up 3.8 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 892 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were up 6.6 per cent compared to the week prior and unit sales were up 29.2 per cent, while land sales were down 57.7 per cent.

There were 4,587 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is 7.2 per cent higher than the previous week. This can be attributed to house listings increasing 9.1 per cent compared to the week prior, unit listings increasing 3.1 per cent and listings for vacant land increasing 5.9 per cent.

Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is 18.9 per cent higher than four weeks ago but 8.9 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.

In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 1,986 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is 1.9 per cent down on the week prior. Last week's rental listings figure is 4.7 per cent lower than four weeks ago but 17.4 per cent higher than a year ago.

REIWA members reported 614 properties leased last week, which is 1.9 per cent lower than the previous week and 6.5 per cent lower than four weeks ago but 8.5 per cent higher than a year ago.
