Sales transactions in Perth last week were down 12.9 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 902 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were down 10.1 per cent compared to the week prior, unit sales were down 12.1 per cent and land sales were down 33.3 per cent.

Perth’s lowest sale price: Wanneroo – $210,000

There were 4,007 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is 1.1 per cent higher than the previous week. This can be attributed to house listings increasing 3.2 per cent, unit listings remaining similar to the week prior and listings for vacant land decreasing 4.2 per cent.

Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is 1.3 per cent higher than four weeks ago but 44 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.

In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 1,799 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is 6.9 per cent up on the week prior. Last week's rental listings figure is similar to four weeks ago and 5.3 per cent lower than a year ago.

REIWA members reported 489 properties leased last week, which is 20.1 per cent lower than the previous week, 28.5 per cent lower than four weeks ago and 8.9 per cent lower than a year ago.
