With just over seven weeks to go until the REIWA Awards for Excellence (AFE), we are excited to announce the finalists for 2023-24.
This year we received a record number of submissions which were judged against the strict eligibility and criteria for excellence that govern AFE awards in all states and territories nationally.
The winners in each category will be announced at the AFE Gala Dinner on 13 November at Crown Perth and earlybird tickets are now open. AFE winners qualify for the REIA National Awards for Excellence scheduled for May 2025 in Adelaide.
“The judging criteria for the REIWA Awards for Excellence goes beyond sales transactions or the size of rent rolls,” REIWA CEO Cath Hart said.
“These are the people and agencies who lead the way and set the standard for our industry. Their success is not always measured in dollars; it is a much deeper contribution to the people they work with, the customers they serve, and the communities they support.
“Competition was tough with so many submissions this year, and I encourage those who didn’t make the finalists to keep doing what you’re doing – demonstrating excellence, striving for continual improvement to raise standards in our industry, and nominate again next year.”
All submissions were rigorously assessed by an independent judging panel of industry experts, overseen by a judge chief and adhering to the same rules set by REIA that govern AFE awards in all states and territories nationally. The criteria include innovation, leadership, ethical practices, community engagement, client outcomes and employee development.
The AFE awards are open to all corporate, ordinary and associate members of REIWA. They recognise and promote excellence and best practice in the industry, showcasing both individual and agency achievements. The 24 categories range from innovation in customer service to community outreach, leadership and operational performance.
The AFE Awards differ from the reiwa.com Awards, which was held on 31 August and recognised the top value or volume of transactions for properties listed on reiwa.com.
