Put the finishing touches to this rural property, approx 20 acres located on the southern side of South West Highway, approx 7km from Ravensthorpe town site.
This little beauty is set amongst beautiful trees and with the Ravey Ranges in full view, sunsets will become extra special.
The very well constructed albeit incomplete 2 bed x 2 bath steel framed house is covered in Colourbond. Verandahs have been added to the front and rear sections complete with decking and steps. The entire area under the house has been concreted and the verandah posts are all set on concrete footings. Quality double glazed windows and doors have been fitted throughout and with a brand new solar power system and sufficient rainwater, life can be lived in a very sustainable way. No utility bills to care about again.
The external cladding and verandas are complete, however the internal insulation and panelling has only been partly completed. The materials to complete this work are all on hand. Build quality throughout is of a very high standard.
Neither bathrooms nor the kitchen have been completed, finish these to your own taste. Plumbing is to be completed, but with ample space underfloor, this will be easier than most. Electricity is provided via a combination of solar panels and batteries and a small backup generator is housed inside a small shed to the side of the house.
There is ample material available to construct a carport or lean-to. An older style caravan is included in this great deal and provides additional sleeping space.
Other improvements include 3 rainwater tanks and a garden shed, all set on compacted bases and a fenced in chicken run / vegetable garden area.
At $165,000 and with most of the costs incurred on a high quality house, do not miss out on this great opportunity. Inspection will not disappoint.

The townsite of Ravensthorpe is located in the south coastal region, 541 kilometres east southeast of Perth and 50 kilometres north northwest of the coastal town of Hopetoun. The Ravensthorpe region was first settled by the Dunn brothers in the 1860's, and it was James Dunn who first found gold in the area in 1899. Gold mining in the area was not very productive until a new find in 1900 resulted in rapid growth.
Ravensthorpe was gazetted a townsite in January 1901, the name having been suggested by surveyor A.W. Canning after the nearby Ravensthorpe Range. The Ravensthorpe Range was named by Surveyor General J.S. Roe in 1848 in honour of Bishop Augustus Short who, prior to becoming Bishop of WA & SA in 1847, had been the Vicar of Ravensthorpe in Northamptonshire (England) from June 1835. Bishop Short is also commemorated by Mt Short, a hill in the Ravensthorpe Range.
