This home is full of character and a great all-rounder for a growing family. If you've already got little ones, this is just the place for them to explore their freedom and enjoy some space, while also giving you some time out! Set on a big half acre block, there's plenty of room should they venture outdoors to kick a footy, climb a tree, or just wander around with friends. An outdoor studio offers the perfect retreat doubling as a games room for the kiddos or guest room for visiting family and friends.
Inside the home, the modern kitchen is very sleek and practical, with modern appliances (OMG that stove!), lots of cupboard space, and a chalkboard wall which is handy for grocery lists and keeping younger kids entertained. The split-level living areas are gorgeous, with bamboo floors, timber trims, and raked ceilings adding that Darlington charm. The wood fire is wonderfully cosy, and with summer coming up you'll appreciate the ducted air-conditioning keeping everyone cool.
The expansive timber-decked veranda includes an entertaining space that comes complete with a pizza oven. Imagine perfect spring evenings spent outside with friends, drink and pizza in hand. The lovely native gardens not only provide a tranquil setting to relax but also attracts exploring kangaroos. Set at the end of a pretty cul de sac, the location feels a bit secluded, yet schools and shops are still only mere minutes away. Best of all, there's an iconic winery in walking distance!

The name "Darlington" is derived from adding the English suffix "ton", meaning "town" to the name of the range in the area - Darling Range which was first named "General Darling Range". The name was first used by Dr Alfred Waylen who established the "Darlington Vineyard" here in 1883-4.
Darlington remains one of the few locations in the Perth hills with an early 20th century village ambience. It is known for its vibrant community with seemingly as many committees and groups as it has residents. The suburb has a local general store however residents rely on the the facilities at Midland and Mundaring which are close by. There are also various primary and secondary schools in the area.
