All The Hard Work Done

Be quick on this one as the owner has just completed a huge freshen up on this property. Fully painted with new carpets ready for the new buyer to move in, the home has an upgraded kitchen but also still has the old wood stove for those cold winter cook ups available as well as the modern gas cooker.
The home features a separate formal lounge with air conditioning and a wood combustion heater, separate meals area from the kitchen, two huge bedrooms at the front of the house and a bedroom in the middle just off the lounge room.
The great thing about Collie apart from the lifestyle is the size of the blocks and this is no exception on a 1012m2 block, there is a single carport and rear open sheds to park more vehicles, trailers and caravans.
What you don't see in this home is the hidden extras spent like new electrical throughout, and a new roof so all the hard work has been done!

Collie overview

The townsite of Collie is located 202 kilometres south southeast of Perth and about 50 kilometres east of Bunbury. It is situated on the Collie River after which it is named. The river, which rises in the Darling Range and flows into Leschenault Estuary near Bunbury, is named after Dr Alexander Collie who was a Royal Navy surgeon that discovered the river in 1829.

Collie is a coal mining town with the coalfields developed in the late 1890s, and land set aside for a townsite. The name Collie was generally used from the beginning, and when lots were surveyed and the townsite gazetted in December 1897, it was named Collie.
