Seaside Delight

This seaside retreat, reflects the relaxed ambience of its surroundings, with an elevated position at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Surrounded by peppy trees on a large block of 1130m2 you will feel like you have escaped the rest of the world. A short stroll down the hill will take you to the beach.

As you enter the property, there is a concrete driveway leading to a lockable single garage. You then wind your way up the steps that have been built in limestone and recycled bricks, to a large paved area at the front of the home. At this point you can either enter the lower level of the house or take the external stairs to the top level.

Enter via the portico to the lower level and you will find a large foyer with neutral tiles which leads to a large bedroom which you could use as a master or guest bedroom. A feature is the floor to ceiling windows on the east side, providing a lovely room to watch the sunrise over the trees.

Off to the left of the foyer there is a large bathroom with vanity, fully screened shower recess, room for a washing machine/dryer and a separate toilet. A sliding door can be used to access the paved area at the front of the home or left shut and covered by the white timber blinds that are a feature throughout the home. A handy cupboard utilizes the space under the stairs for extra storage.

The timber staircase leads to the upper level of the home to a warm and welcoming living area with lots of windows and timber laminate flooring. A reverse cycle air conditioner keeps the space at your ideal temperature. Sliding doors on the east side provide access to the balcony while a set of French doors leads to a deck on the north side of the home where you can enjoy an outlook across the trees all the way to the Darling Scarp.

The kitchen is at the other end of the living area and has a number of windows allowing you to look out straight into the tree canopy. There is a generous amount of cupboard space incorporating a slide out pantry as well as an electric oven, cooktop, fridge recess & dishwasher. The sink has a large window behind it so you can watch the native birds in the trees.

The upstairs bathroom is adjacent to the kitchen with a fully screened shower recess, toilet and large white vanity.

Two steps take you to the next level where you will find two bedrooms, both with ceiling fans and sliding doors to their own private outdoor areas. One has access to a paved area and the other to a small deck which adjoins the main deck and has a glimpse of the ocean.

The beauty of this home lies in the multitude of private outdoor areas, all linking to each other, but offering the occupants their own quiet space or the option to choose an area with the ideal climate for outdoor living.

With no lawns to mow and very little garden to maintain, your spare time can be spent at the beach. This beautiful home would make a perfect holiday home or enjoy the serenity every day and live here permanently.

By 1962 there was only one resident in the area, but many homes were built in the following few years. At the request of the Shire of Harvey, Binningup was gazetted a townsite in 1963.
