Under Offer Home Open Cancelled

There are not many homes like this left, still in the hands of the original family this much loved, cared for 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home is as good now as when new.

Built at a time when quality was at a new build core this double brick home has stood the test of time and then some.

Humble but honest cottage and representing excellent value this home awaits its new owners with great anticipation as it enters its next stage.

Live in - Capitalise on the renovations already done, extend or just enjoy the ambience that living at 8 Bulla Street can give.

Back in the 70s the owner had the "pick" of the blocks on offer and good sense made her select the high side of the road on an elevated but relatively flat block and practicalities meant that the corner was also selected - That now makes for a sought after location but also a very sought after block with all the amenity you need for a workshop or access to install a pool or whatever (granny flat possibly?)

There's a tandem double carport, a sturdy alfresco come patio, established gardens with many fruit trees (fruit salad orchard) and the backyard veggie patch can supply all your culinary needs.

There is also a smaller shed / possible chook house.

Live the dream!

Lesmurdie overview

Like Kalamunda, the development of the "Lesmurdie" area is closely tied to the exploitation of the Jarrah forest in the region by the Canning Jarrah Timber Company Ltd. In 1897, Mr Archibald Sanderson, a Perth journalist commenced the acquisition of a number of these properties, with a view to building up a "rural retreat" and he named his property "Lesmurdie". Lesmurdie Cottage was a shooting-box in Banffshire, Scotland, near Dufftown and was let to Mr Sanderson's father for shooting. It was in memory of this cottage that Sanderson applied the name to his property.
