8 Ardross Crescent makes a striking first impression. Lush, manicured lawns and a picture-perfect front porch set a refined scene, while the leafy streetscape and neighbouring parkland create an outlook that feels both timeless and quintessentially Art Deco.

Stepping inside, the home reveals a world of detail — arched moldings, ornate ceilings, and leadlight windows — each feature a testament to its deco pedigree. Lovingly preserved and balanced with thoughtful modern updates, the interiors strike a beautiful harmony.

At the centre of the home, a gas fireplace anchors the main living area, inviting moments of pause and connection. Brass fixtures and a refined neutral palette bring quiet sophistication, while old world cabinetry and a jarrah mantle echoes the home’s deco style. Underfoot, restored jarrah floors honour its character - their rich tones a welcome contrast to the light-filled space. Seamlessly connected to the living space, the dining area features ornate ceilings, plate rails and a feature brass pendant light.

Central to the home, the renovated kitchen features new cabinetry, a Miele dishwasher, and an Ariston oven and stovetop. High ceilings and a central skylight bathe the room in natural light.

Three generously sized bedrooms provide ample accommodation and enjoy abundant natural light. A central bathroom features a bath and shower combination as well as a double vanity, plus a separate powder room which adjoins the laundry. To the rear, a secondary living space is serviced by a split system air-conditioner and provides a second break-out area for the family.

Outdoors, 8 Ardross Crescent comes into its own, unfolding across a generous 792 sqm with manicured lawns, wide open space and the ease of rear-lane access. A dedicated storage room keeps life neatly tucked away.

Directly opposite Lanark Graham Ardross Reserve, 8 Ardross Crescent offers a lifestyle that balances family life with proximity to urban amenities. Just moments from the energy of Fitzgerald and Angove Streets, and with Mount Lawley and Mount Hawthorn close by, the lifestyle offering is enviable — cafés, dining, shopping and community all within reach. Families are well served with quality local schools and the prestige of Perth College nearby, while the CBD is only a ten-minute drive away. Perfectly placed in one of Menora’s most sought-after pockets, 8 Ardross Crescent is as well positioned as it is beautifully preserved.

Menora overview

The suburb of Menora grew out of a large area generally referred to as Mount Lawley.  In 1954, the Nomenclature Advisory Committee, working with the Postmaster General established suburb names and boundaries for the inner metropolitan area.  The area of Menora was considered unnamed, and Menora was chosen as the name because of the Menora Picture Theatre located in Walcott Street within the area.

Life in Merora

Menora is home to a large Jewish community, the heart of which is the Perth Hebrew Congregation. It is close to the Carmel Jewish School and other Kosher facilities such as the Kosher Food Centre and Besh Fresh cafe. A Jewish synagogue was opened on Plantation Street in 1973 and remains a significant spiritual focus for Perth's Jewish community.

The suburb contains some commercial ribbon development along Walcott Street, which allows local residents to access retail services. Other facilities include a large number of public open space reserves and several pocket parks, Saint Paul's Primary School and several homes for senior citizens.
