Standing proud in one of Menora's most admired streets, this deeply held c1922 Federation home has remained in the same family for almost a century, quietly shaping generations of memories behind its wide return verandah and solid brick façade. Set across a substantial 759 sqm (approx) allotment with a generous frontage and deep street setback, the setting carries a captivating sense of permanence and privacy, offering something increasingly difficult to find in such a prized neighbourhood.
Original character is beautifully preserved throughout, from the high ceilings and leadlight windows to the hardwood detail and decorative fretwork lining the entry foyer. A formal lounge sits to the front of the home with broad proportions and a gas fireplace set within its red brick surround, while the main bedroom enjoys a corner garden outlook and an adjoining sunroom ideal as a study, nursery or dressing room. A second large bedroom reflects the same soaring ceilings, supported by a classic bathroom with shower over bath, with a third bedroom set along the extended rear hallway beside the laundry and second bathroom with separate WC.
At the centre, the dining area flows into a dine-in kitchen updated in the 1980s, complete with ample bench space, a walk-in pantry and direct connection to the outdoor spaces. Beyond, a large gabled pergola opens to an impressively deep backyard, where fruit trees, lawn and established plantings create a peaceful, private outlook with room for future ideas such as an extension or pool, subject to approval. Carport parking, abundant storage and a walkable position near St Paul's Primary, Ron Stone and Hamer parks, cafés and transport, plus zoning for Mount Lawley Primary and Mount Lawley Senior High School, complete a treasured home that has been cherished for generations and is now ready for its next custodians.

The suburb of Menora grew out of a large area generally referred to as Mount Lawley. In 1954, the Nomenclature Advisory Committee, working with the Postmaster General established suburb names and boundaries for the inner metropolitan area. The area of Menora was considered unnamed, and Menora was chosen as the name because of the Menora Picture Theatre located in Walcott Street within the area.
Menora is home to a large Jewish community, the heart of which is the Perth Hebrew Congregation. It is close to the Carmel Jewish School and other Kosher facilities such as the Kosher Food Centre and Besh Fresh cafe. A Jewish synagogue was opened on Plantation Street in 1973 and remains a significant spiritual focus for Perth's Jewish community.
The suburb contains some commercial ribbon development along Walcott Street, which allows local residents to access retail services. Other facilities include a large number of public open space reserves and several pocket parks, Saint Paul's Primary School and several homes for senior citizens.
