One Acre with a View

Set on a level 4,048sqm block above Denmark town, 7 Wishart Place offers something increasingly hard to find - a full acre of land, generous living space and outstanding views across Wilson Inlet, all within easy reach of town.

Built in 2002, the Hardiboard and iron home is comfortable, practical and well suited to family living. The floorplan includes four bedrooms and two bathrooms, with one bathroom featuring a shower and the other offering both a bath and separate shower. Two separate toilets add further convenience for a busy household.

At the centre of the home is the open-plan lounge and dining area, a relaxed everyday living space with a slow-combustion wood fire providing warmth through the cooler Denmark months. The adjoining kitchen includes instant gas cooking, while an instant gas hot water system services the home.

Outside is where this property really makes the most of its one-acre setting. The block is level, fully fenced and gated, with broad lawn areas providing plenty of usable space around the home. Established bird-friendly native plantings around the perimeter add greenery and help frame the property without taking away from its open outlook.

From its elevated position, the property enjoys impressive views across the surrounding landscape to Wilson Inlet - a feature that can be appreciated from both inside the home and around the grounds.

A separate double garage with roller-door entry provides secure parking along with useful storage or workshop space.

Despite the sense of space, the property remains very close to Denmark town centre, with shops, cafés and everyday services nearby. Denmark Health Service is also conveniently close, adding to the practicality of the location.

For buyers wanting more land without moving well out of town, 7 Wishart Place brings together a generous one-acre block, a four-bedroom home, inlet views and a location that keeps Denmark within easy reach.

Denmark overview

The townsite of Denmark, located on the south coast 51 kilometres west of Albany, was gazetted a townsite in 1909. It is located on the Denmark River from which it derives its name, the river having been named by the explorer Dr J B Wilson RN in December 1829. Wilson named it the "Denmark" in compliment to his friend Dr. Alexander Denmark R.N. a physician to the fleet. The Aboriginal name "Koorrabup", recorded by Alfred Hillman in 1833, also refers to this area.

Although a townsite was not declared here until 1909, a settlement of this name had existed here for some years previous. A Millars Bros. Timber mill was established on the banks of the river in 1894.
