UNDER OFFER BY HARRY STEVENSON
Offered for the first time in over six decades, this home captures an uninterrupted 180-degree ocean panorama from its elevated vantage point at the highest point of the street.
The crystal waters of Mettams Pool are right on your doorstep, perfect for a morning dip or snorkel, with every lifestyle convenience nearby: boutique cafes and eateries, parklands, beaches, top schools, golf courses, public transport, freeway access, and Karrinyup Shopping Centre's vibrant precinct.
Embracing its elevation, a driveway leads to the undercroft single garage and gated front garden - with the elevated block ideally suited to future redevelopment, allowing for extensive undercroft parking and a large, usable rear garden. A leafy umbrella tree frames the view, while stairs wind above to the front porch. Inside, timber floors flow towards a series of spaces. The main living opens out to the porch, while opposite is a private sitting room (also air-conditioned) and a formal dining. A large bathroom/laundry with separate WC and laundry chute, exterior access to the back garden, and a light-filled kitchen complete this lower level - walk-through pantry, electric oven, gas cooktop, dishwasher. Outside, a sheltered alfresco enjoys the leafy serenity, with a separate studio or games room offering future scope as self-contained accommodation (STCA).
Upstairs, timber floors continue to 4 bedrooms and a study, all configured with varying built-in storage and wardrobe layouts, including the air-conditioned master where the best is yet to unfold: uninterrupted 180-degree ocean vistas from its private, glass-enclosed balcony. Sheltered from the elements, with the option to open it up to those gentle sea breezes and golden sunsets, it's the perfect perch to marvel at your enviable proximity to the coast. A bathroom with a separate toilet services all five bedrooms.
Offered to market for the first time in over 60 years, an enticing array of possibilities await: land bank for the future and enjoy as-is, renovate, or start again and craft the home of your dreams, capitalising on those incredible blue vistas of sea and sky.

The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run". The suburb was originally set aside as a timber reserve in the 1860s and then as a quarantine area for camels entering in the 1890s. A number of orchards operated in the area with the only evidence that remains today an old olive tree on Hope Street.
Residential styles in North Beach include a mix of holiday dwellings from before and after World War II, some former workers' houses, and modern dwellings. As a residential suburb, North Beach has small shopping areas on the coast and at Flora Terrace and Castle Street which offer basic commercial services. The suburb features a tennis club and has two primary schools - North Beach Primary School and Our Lady of Grace School.
