Parkside Perfection on Lantana Lane

Perched on sought-after Lantana Lane, overlooking Thomas Reserve, this residence enjoys one of the most enviable positions in town. With the widest uninterrupted frontage to the parklands, the property offers an unrivalled connection to nature and a sense of openness rarely found.

Crafted by a renowned local builder and designed by a respected local architect, this split-level, three-bedroom, three-bathroom family home seamlessly blends striking design with everyday luxury. Every room is oriented to frame views of the lush reserve, ensuring a serene and ever-changing backdrop to daily life. Direct access to the parklands means it feels as though you have your own expansive back garden—lovingly maintained by the Council—while walking trails and natural beauty are just metres from your door.

Inside, the home unfolds with two living areas and two alfresco spaces, perfectly tailored for the famed Margaret River lifestyle. The master suite occupies its own floor, complete with a generous ensuite, walk-in robe, and windows to both the north and south—creating a private retreat bathed in light. The secondary bedrooms, each with fitted robes (one with its own ensuite), provide comfort and flexibility for family or guests.

The chef’s kitchen features a waterfall island and premium SMEG appliances, while a fully fitted study offers the ideal home workspace. A dramatic central atrium floods the interior with natural light, enhancing the seamless indoor–outdoor feel.

Beyond the interiors, thoughtful touches elevate daily living:
Outdoor hot shower set in a lush, tropical enclave
Double fully lined garage plus additional space for a boat or caravan
Low-maintenance gardens with vegetable beds and reticulation
Ducted air-conditioning and energy-efficient heat pump hot water

This is more than a home—it’s a retreat, a place to gather with family and friends, and a sanctuary where nature and design exist in perfect harmony.

Margaret River overview

The townsite of Margaret River is located in the south west agricultural area, 277 kilometres south southwest of Perth and 48 kilometres south southwest of Busselton. It is located on the Margaret River from which it derives its name. The precise origin of the naming of the river is not known, but it was possibly named by John Bussell in honour of Margaret Wyche, a friend in England who was expected to follow the Bussell's to Australia. The name is first shown on a map of the region published in 1839.

In 1910 the Margaret River Progress Association wrote to the Minister for Lands requesting a townsite be declared at "the Upper Margaret Bridge". The reason given was that "the district is likely to be dotted with public buildings several miles apart in the near future if a townsite is not made available shortly". The District Surveyor who inspected the area preferred an area near the lower bridge on Caves Road, but this land was not available. Lots were surveyed in 1912, and the Townsite of Margaret River gazetted in 1913. In 1918 the name of the townsite was changed to "Margaret", but it was changed back to Margaret River in 1927, due to local usage of the name always being Margaret River.
