Walking in to this complex the first thing you notice are the manicured gardens and lawn areas that are hard to find in strata complexes nowadays. There are paths throughout to bring you from your unit to your allocated parking area, or through the coded pedestrian gate to the walkway outside. This well-maintained complex is one that you can easily admire every time you walk outside your door.

The unit is on the second floor, which adds another layer of security. Walking in the door you will immediately see in front of you the balcony, which has been well positioned to allow for an exterior view from the kitchen or living area, as well as providing lots of natural light to the home. There is another large window to the living area which also provides a nice view.

The kitchen layout means that there is a good amount of cupboards and benches for storage and cooking, as well as a bench stop space looking out to the living area, for chatting with guests and family whilst in the kitchen, or serving up a dish or cup of coffee. Featured in this kitchen are a gas cook-top, a sink with a window looking out to the front of the unit, fridge space, and down-lights for maximum lighting.

The bedrooms are both a good size to comfortably relax in, whether using both bedrooms, or utilizing one as a study or storage room, it's up to you. There is ducted air conditioning, as well as a wall air conditioner to the living area, so you can keep cool in summer. The unit has carpets throughout the living and bedrooms. Nearby, the tiled bathroom has been complete with internal laundry features, so you don't have to share a common laundry area. This bathroom makes your morning and evening routines easy with an area for a washing machine, a shower area, separate toilet, and sink/vanity.

Admire the birds at the nearby lake from your private balcony, or sit out here with a cup of tea and simply enjoy the view. Stepping back outside the unit, it is a quick walk across the road to the oval/lake. Also within walking distance are Lockridge Primary School (5 min walk/240 m), Good Shepherd Catholic School (10 min/1.1km), and a bus stop that will take you to Altone Park Shopping Centre, Morley Galleria, and Bassendean Train Station.

There is plenty to love about this unit, whether for yourself (move in) or for someone else (rent out). Whatever you decide, make sure you don't miss out as a unit this cute is sure not to last long!

Lockridge overview

The suburb of Lockridge derives its name from a Swan valley property owned by the Hamersley family. The Hamersley's, a prominent colonial family owned a number of properties, and resided at Pyrton in what is now Eden Hill. Part of the Lockridge land became Pyrton Estate which the government developed for soldier settlement in the 1920's. The residential development in Lockridge was commenced by the State Housing Commission in 1969 when it purchased 240 acres for the purpose.
