Old School House

Looking to get into the market with a great location then look no further! Sure the house needs some work but what house doesn't.

The core has been done like the new roof and kitchen was replace a while back but very functional. The front living room is old school large with high ceilings and timber framed windows, typical of a house built in 1964. Central to the home is the kitchen that is wrapped around the walls with the central dining room that leads to the rear of the home with another living room.

There are 2 bedrooms both again large rooms, no built ins here but I can imagine modern wardrobes would fit in nicely. Bathroom, toilet laundry all standard but practical and functional.

The actual surprise here is the rear yard, quite big seeing as the block is 465m2 so plenty of room for pets or gardens and shed. Now, the house isn't expensive and is what it is but for this location you are opposite the state owned park and recreation, Eaton lawn bowls club around the corner (with a huge upgrade currently under construction for the community) and the parks and recreations along the Collie River which is roughly a 300m distance away.

Be quick on this one as it won't last long in this market place.

Eaton overview

Eaton is a suburban area located on the banks of the Collie River six kilometres from Bunbury. In 1949 the island in the Collie River opposite Eaton was named Eaton Island, because its original name, Alexander Island, was duplicated. Eaton was nominated by the Bunbury Road Board in honour of Mr Foster Eaton, the late fisheries and game inspector for this area. The name was given in recognition of work he had done in the area. When urban development was commenced in the area in 1951, it was at first referred to as the Collie River Estate, but was soon changed to Eaton due to its proximity to Eaton Island.
