Oh, so close to everything fabulous Mundaring has to offer but hidden so far back from the road you've probably never even realised it existed, this property is such a hidden gem. Pull in the driveway and breathe out: the gum trees sway, the kookaburras have a cackle, the world slows down just enough. Private, peaceful, and properly family friendly, it boasts a brick home surrounded by acres of adventure and potential.

The home itself has a lot of classic and quirky touches that make a true Hills home feel like, well…home. You'll find a generous living and dining space that's made for family dinners and also lazy weekend mornings where everyone can stretch out, plus a bonus living room that's perfect for movie nights, turning into a home library or music room, or just hiding from the chaos when you need five minutes of peace. The main bedroom comes with robes and an ensuite, while the three additional bedrooms all have built-ins because we all know storage is the key when you've got hobbies, kids, or just a healthy appreciation for 'stuff'. The ducted reverse cycle air con keeps everyone happy no matter the weather, and the brick build gives it that comforting feel you can't fake. Character in the best kind of way. The bathroom and kitchen are both practical, spacious, and totally ready to swing towards full modern luxe or nodding to vintage charm or country chic. Every corner whispers possibilities and every window reminds you why you chose to live here: green, leafy, and so far away from the sameness of suburbia.

Features include:

• Brick home set towards the rear of a spacious block
• 4 bedrooms
• 2 bathrooms

Outside is where it really gets good. If your idea of land was a backyard before this, you're in for a real treat. This is nearly 2 and a half acres of pure potential stretched out before you with a paved patio that's just the spot for sitting and patting yourself on the back you moved here. It's a great setup for families who like to entertain or just love to see the kids running around outside; dinner can be under the stars, brunches you can invite everyone to as there's space, or just keep it all to yourself for early coffees shared with your resident magpies. The patio overlooks all that land; dotted with trees and open spaces ready for whatever you can dream up from veggie gardens to fruit trees, maybe a firepit for Winter? There's already a big shed for tools and weekend projects and a two car carport to keep the daily drivers covered.

Here's lovely living, possibilities plus, on a block that makes you glad to be alive.

Mundaring overview

Permanent settlement in Mundaring began in 1882-84 when Mr Peter Gugeri established a vineyard south of the Eastern Railway. The first railway siding at Mundaring was named after him and for some years the area was generally known as "Gugeris". A later settler, M H Jacoby, took over Gugeris' vineyards in 1893, and named the business the "Mundaring Vineyard Company". The name came from an Aboriginal camp situated nearby and the meaning given to Jacoby by the aborigines was "a high place on a high place". The correct pronunciation was "Mundahring" but common usage has gradually converted this to "Mundairing".
