Living the Family Dream!
As if the Perth hills’ lifestyle wasn’t quiet enough, this stunning fully-renovated 5 bedroom 3 bathroom two-storey family residence takes tranquillity to a whole new level, nestled in one of the area’s most secluded streets and on a commanding corner block with more space than you could ever imagine.

Before you even step foot inside, you will be in awe of this home’s amazing parking options, inclusive of a double lock-up garage (with access to the rear deck), a huge adjacent 8m x 9m (approx.) powered workshop with a gable roof, a personnel door and double roller doors for you to securely park two more cars and ample driveway space in front – for your boat, caravan, trailer or all three. Inside, a sunken front lounge room is warmed by gorgeous Jarrah floorboards, as is the home office across the entry foyer.

A central open-plan family and dining area boasts split-system air-conditioning and built-in book/display shelving, as well as incorporating a massive chef’s kitchen into its ultra-functional design. The latter has been impressively-revamped to include sparkling stone bench tops, tiled splashbacks, sleek white cabinetry, ample storage options, two breakfast nooks, a range hood, a 900mm-wide six-burner Omega gas cooktop, a 900mm-wide Westinghouse oven and a stainless-steel Fisher and Paykel dishwasher. From here, access out to the backyard is rather seamless and reveals an enormous pitched patio-entertaining deck, overlooking a shimmering 85,000-litre heated below-ground swimming pool, as well as a bubbling outdoor spa with a shade sail.

Also out back is a large firepit courtyard, built-in play equipment for the young ones, another hidden play area for the kids (or a potential mini-golf course) and a selection of herb gardens and exotic fruit trees – oranges, locats, mandarin, lemon, lime and peaches amongst them. A giant master retreat headlines the main downstairs sleeping quarters with its air-conditioning, floor-to-wall-to-ceiling built-in wardrobes, backyard and firepit access and a fully-tiled and modernised ensuite bathroom – comprising of a shower, toilet, heat lamps, twin “his and hers” vanities and plenty of space for pampering.

Upstairs, an expansive carpeted games room can be whatever you want it to be and features air-conditioning, a ceiling fan & its own front balcony with leafy tree-lined inland views. It also doubles as another retreat (or potential second master/guest suite) that connects to a carpeted open-plan “fifth bedroom” with its own brand-new large ensuite-come-third bathroom with a shower, toilet and vanity. A generous fitted walk-in robe can also be found off here.

No more than just a few minutes separate your front doorstep from everything here, despite the obvious seclusion. Bus stops, sprawling local parklands and St Brigid’s College are all around the corner, with the Lesmurdie IGA supermarket, the private Mazenod College boys’ school, Lesmurdie Primary School, Lesmurdie Senior High School and the sprawling Ray Owen Reserve and Sports Centre all nearby. Throw in a very close proximity to the spectacular Lesmurdie Falls National Park, excellent medical services and shopping facilities, major arteries, Perth Airport and our vibrant Perth CBD – itself around 30 minutes away – and you have yourself a location to enjoy for many years to come.

It simply doesn’t get any better than this. Something special well and truly awaits you!

Lesmurdie overview

Like Kalamunda, the development of the "Lesmurdie" area is closely tied to the exploitation of the Jarrah forest in the region by the Canning Jarrah Timber Company Ltd. In 1897, Mr Archibald Sanderson, a Perth journalist commenced the acquisition of a number of these properties, with a view to building up a "rural retreat" and he named his property "Lesmurdie". Lesmurdie Cottage was a shooting-box in Banffshire, Scotland, near Dufftown and was let to Mr Sanderson's father for shooting. It was in memory of this cottage that Sanderson applied the name to his property.
