Pool, gym, sauna, cafe strip: repeat as required.
If you want apartment living more space, more privacy, more outdoor living, this one’s got the memo. Sitting pretty on the ground floor of the secure Horizon Apartments on Sixth Ave, with its own street front access at the cul-de-sac end of the avenue, this is apartment living with serious main character energy. The big show off is the massive North-facing courtyard - a sun drenched extension of the home complete with landscaped gardens, covered alfresco, and custom retractable shade blinds for when the sun decides to get a little enthusiastic. It’s the kind of space that easily handles morning coffee, Friday drinks with your bests, lazy Sunday breakfasts, and a thriving collection of plants. Inside, things are seriously good looking. New creative lighting, sheer and block-out drapes, and beautiful feature walls deliver a modern marvel of warmth, texture, and calm to all the corners. The central kitchen anchors it all with stone benchtops, stainless steel appliances, and super smart storage, while the open-plan living and dining zone spills into that outdoor area so fabulously. The main bedroom also opens to the courtyard and has its own ensuite, with two additional bedrooms both boasting built-in robes, plus there’s a second bathroom with integrated laundry. Don’t we love it when home gets a little extra? Speaking of, you’ll also adore the two secure parking bays, storeroom, security screen doors, and access to the pool, gym, and sauna set up you get to spend as much time enjoying as you like without wasting a single second on maintenance. Sweet.

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.
The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.
Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
