This secure sanctuary, a delightful 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom green titled, street-front residence, beautifully blends charm and comfort. Enhanced by impressive modern renovations, this home boasts premium finishes and sophisticated design elements that elevate its appeal. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a low-maintenance "lock-up-and-leave" lifestyle without compromising on style and quality.

A leafy, shaded garden entrance guides you to a charming front pergola courtyard, perfect for sitting and quiet contemplation. This serene space flows effortlessly into the open-plan dining, kitchen, and living area on the home's lower level. Custom storage solutions at both ends of this functional area complement the stylishly revamped culinary hub at its centre. The kitchen boasts a spacious central island with waterfall ends and a breakfast bar for casual meals, stone benchtops and a glass splashback, quality Fisher and Paykel induction cooktop and pyrolytic oven appliances, a fully integrated Miele dishwasher, and sleek matt white cabinetry with concealed microwave cupboard, ensuring both elegance and practicality.

Staying downstairs, two carpeted additional bedrooms are serviced by a practical and fully tiled main bathroom that features a shower, vanity and heat lamps. The second bedroom is graced by split-system air-conditioning, built-in double wardrobes and benefits from a pleasant northern aspect, whilst the third bedroom overlooks a window garden and has its own built-in storage cupboard (or potential robe) with shelves, as well as another split-system air-conditioner for climate control.

Adjacent to main bathroom, the laundry is efficient in design and comprises of a linen press, internal hanging space, a separate toilet and external access to a side covered clothesline for protection from the elements.

Heading out the rear wide sliding doors from the living area, a quality pitched patio and honed finish concrete pavers set the tone as the perfect haven for outdoor entertaining, complementing the open living space, and overlooking a sunken north-facing backyard with lawn, as well as lemon and mandarin trees and reticulated vegetable planter boxes. All of this is further complemented by a sizeable lawned area, shaded by trees and ideal for children to play and perfect for family summer gatherings.

Upstairs, high raked ceilings add character and an airy feel to the spacious retreat - essentially a versatile second living room with ample storage, shelving, and split-system air-conditioning. This area also features a sizeable, dedicated study nook, complete with a built-in desk and drawers. The separate master wing boasts a fully tiled, renovated ensuite bathroom with a luxurious walk-in rain/hose shower, a stone vanity, under-bench storage, a toilet, and heat lamps. Adjacent to the ensuite, the light-filled, carpeted main bedroom is both bright and breezy, featuring a ceiling fan, its own split-system air-conditioner, and "his and hers" full-height double-door built-in robes with drawers in the middle. Wake up to gorgeous tree-lined views to the north - how blissful!

Maylands overview

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.

The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.

Life in Maylands

Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
