If you're looking for a sea change or weekend escape on a flat block overlooking the park, this immaculate home will tick lots of boxes.
The original cottage has been re-built to create a modern, low maintenance property that is easy to lock and leave. There is nothing left for you to do, other than unpack your bags and head for the beach!
Situated on a 800m2 block, the property has been well laid out and incorporates two sheds as well as room to park the caravan. Sit on the front verandah for an evening drink and watch the kids play in the park, or just enjoy the birdlife in the trees across the road.
If you are not looking for a huge house, this impressive re-build is sure to impress. Come inside and you will find:
• Large open plan living area with cathedral ceilings at the front of the home. Elevated windows flood the area with natural light and lots of windows on the west side are perfect to catch an afternoon sea- breeze. Easy care flooring extends throughout the home and gives a fresh, coastal feel to the property.
• A beautifully appointed kitchen occupies one end of the living area. There is plenty of storage and bench space, and the coastal green glass splashback adds a vibrant splash of colour. An island bench doubles as extra workspace or a casual dining area.
• In addition to the kitchen, there is plenty of space for both a dining and lounge area. The outdoor entertaining areas are easily accessed from either the front or side doors. A reverse cycle air con is installed but rarely used, due to the insulation used in internal/external walls and the ceiling.
• A central hallway leads to the rear of the home where you will find three good sized bedrooms. Both bedrooms on the east side have had double glazed windows installed as part of the energy conscious design of the home. The two larger bedrooms have built in storage and the back bedroom also has Jarrah floorboards
• The resort feel bathroom is beautifully finished with floor to ceiling tiling, fully screened shower, deep relaxing bath, crisp white vanity with two large drawers, overhead cabinetry with mirrors and storage behind and a toilet.
• Close by is the powder room which is roomy and has its own basin.………
• The compact laundry has been beautifully designed with a double built in linen cupboard. broom cupboard, drawers, room for the washer/dryer and even the laundry basket.
You are sure to spend as much time outside as you do inside, thanks to:
• A multitude of outdoor entertaining areas mean you can find the perfect spot at any time of the year – an evening drink on the front verandah in the summer, winter entertaining on the side deck, both fully enclosed with outdoor blinds or an evening around the firepit in the gazebo out the back.
• The semi enclosed garage with automatic roller door provides a secure parking area with easy access onto the front verandah.
• The back of the property can be accessed through the garage where you will find a powered shed complete with lined, insulated storeroom - the perfect space for the home handyman.
• For extra storage there is another shed at the front of the property which is easily accessible if you have a boat, trailer or an extra vehicle that wont fit in the garage.
• Wash off the sand and salt after a day at the beach with your own outdoor shower with both hot and cold water.
• Low maintenance lawns and gardens, all on auto retic mean you can lock up and leave at any time of the year. The vege boxes are ready and waiting for your new seedlings, and there are some small areas of lawn & native plants.
