Just metres from the beach, this bespoke home delivers a clever and spacious floor plan designed for easy family living on the coast.

Originally a 4-bedroom design it’s been reconfigured into a unique 3-bedroom layout, giving you larger-than-average rooms and a genuine sense of space. Behind the tall entrance gate, a sun-drenched verandah sets the tone – the perfect spot for your morning cuppa while relaxing in the sea breeze.

Step inside and you’ll love how the natural light streams into every corner of this home. The main bedroom offers floor-to-ceiling robes and a deluxe ensuite with double vanity, oversized shower and separate WC. The second and third bedrooms both feature sliding robes, with garden views and thoughtful touches like external electric security shutters for peaceful nights and temperature regulation.

The family bathroom is timeless and practical, with a hobless shower, full-size bath and single vanity accommodating all ages. Storage is abundant throughout, including a fully-shelved linen press and even a loft with flooring and lighting.

At the heart of the home, the open-plan living zone combines lounge, dining, kitchen and a separate study that could easily convert into a butler’s pantry or scullery. The kitchen is fully equipped with induction cooking, dishwasher, built-in microwave and even a fridge/freezer. Pendant lighting over the breakfast bar adds style and function, while the wood-burning heater creates cosy charm on winter nights. For year-round comfort, ducted reverse-cycle air conditioning has got you covered.

Entertain with ease under the spacious alfresco, complete with electric sunshades for all-seasons use, surrounded by established gardens that burst with colour throughout the year.

Tucked neatly on a corner block, privacy is assured with full fencing, while the rear double garage with shoppers’ entry adds convenience. Yanchep overview

Yanchep is an outer suburb located on the coast, 56 kilometres north of Perth. Originally a small crayfishing settlement, it was developed by entrepreneur Alan Bond in the 1970s. The name ‘Yanchep’ was adapted from the Nyoongar word ‘Yandjip’, or ‘Yanget’, which is their word for the bulrush reed that is abundant around the wetlands of the area. Its boundaries as a suburb are extremely large, covering over 220 square kilometres and taking up almost the entire northern and north-eastern portion of the City of Wanneroo.

Life in Yanchep

As a suburb, Yanchep has a shopping centre with a large Woolworths and various specialty shops such as a newsagency, butcher, bakery, hair salon, travel agency, cafe, massage and nail salons and fast food outlets. A garden centre, vet and various other businesses are also located in the industrial area a few hundred metres from the shopping centre.

Yanchep is a popular tourist destination due to its close proximity to the Yanchep National Park, therefore most residents are located in a small enclave around Yanchep Beach Road, near the coast. There are two primary schools and one secondary school in the area, with a new primary school expected to open in 2021.
