Room to Breathe | A Home to Love

This delightful home, set on a generous block in a great part of town, is ready for its next family. Whether you're a new Hills family upsizing from a suburban block, a retired couple ready to downsize, or a super single looking for a manageable property, this home has so much to offer.

The current owners renovated this home with such care and attention to detail. They took real delight in respecting the 60's style of the home whilst adding modern comfort and convenience. The living room, for example, draws from the modernist era with the addition of the stack bond brick fireplace with granite hearth, combined with a beautiful new recessed ceiling with energy-efficient downlights, air conditioning and a contemporary fan. The kitchen is stylish and functional - blending retro charm with the fresh modernity of subway tiles and sage green cabinetry.

Four comfortable bedrooms means plenty of space for everyone with the main boasting its own air conditioner. And the beautifully renovated bathroom is airy and generous, with double sinks, premium tapware and a spacious shower stall.

Features include:

• Great character home with thoughtful upgrades
• 4 bedrooms
• 1 renovated bathroom with double sinks, generous shower and premium tapware
• Separate toilet off laundry
• 3 phase power to house and shed

• Front deck with a serene bush outlook & evening light

Outside is fabulously low-maintenance with loads of shade, a great front deck, and smart waterwise landscaping surrounding generous paved entertaining areas. The newly added front patio and deck has a wonderful outlook of glimmering trees in the opposite reserve. The wonderful back yard is designed for living, with plenty of space for playing, entertaining, kitchen gardening, chicken nurturing and just generally soaking up some tranquillity. Close by, you'll find the Mundaring Sculpture Park with its top-notch playground and fantastic schools like Sacred Heart Primary School, Mundaring Primary, and Mundaring Christian College. For weekends, there's a cracking local pub in walking distance, a buzzing shopping area, and both the Mundaring Arena and Mundaring Sporting Club. Mundaring overview

Permanent settlement in Mundaring began in 1882-84 when Mr Peter Gugeri established a vineyard south of the Eastern Railway. The first railway siding at Mundaring was named after him and for some years the area was generally known as "Gugeris". A later settler, M H Jacoby, took over Gugeris' vineyards in 1893, and named the business the "Mundaring Vineyard Company". The name came from an Aboriginal camp situated nearby and the meaning given to Jacoby by the aborigines was "a high place on a high place". The correct pronunciation was "Mundahring" but common usage has gradually converted this to "Mundairing".
