RIVERSIDE LIVING

This neat and tidy property is hard to fault and offers so much. At a base level it’s a huge 918m2 block that backs onto a river reserve and the Murray river which is appealing in its own right! But to add to its location it is just minutes by foot or car to the centre of Pinjarra. It really has a lot going for it and I haven’t even started on the house yet!

The house is a spacious brick and tile home that presents very well and boasts 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 2 toilets. The kitchen has been upgraded, there is ample living space and no carpet throughout to keep cleaning to a minimum.

Out the back is a huge rear patio which overlooks the large, yet low maintenance yard. But as you may have noticed in the photos, there is also a decent shed which is perfect for anything you need to store or work on! This property really covers all bases!

Pinjarra overview

The townsite of Pinjarra is located in the south west agricultural region, 87 km south of Perth and 21 km south east of Mandurah. It is located near a ford over the Murray River, and land was reserved for a townsite here in 1831. Surveys were carried out in 1836 and land allocated to settlers in 1837. The name was often shown spelt "Pinjarrup" on early maps, and the accepted spelling for many years was "Pinjarrah". There are conflicting theories regarding the meaningof this Aboriginal name. It is usually said to mean "place of a swamp", but it is more likely named after the "Pindjarup" tribe, the Aboriginal group that frequented this area.
