Lantana Lifestyle

The essence of every great home is drawn from a truly unique location and setting and this is no exception. Lantana Lane has undoubtably become known as the Dress Circle of Margaret River. This area is known for its quality builds and proud homeowners who have made it the premium address that it is today.
One of Lantana Lanes unique advantages is the convenience of being able to enjoy the park and forest without having to maintain it. This sense of space is rare so close to town and as such properties here are highly sought after.

This 2015 award winning 4-bedroom 2-bathroom home has been built with comfort and quality in mind. Its north facing aspect offers the opportunity for you to enjoy the superb views across parklands and bushlands in the warm winter sun.
The owners have meticulously maintained this property, as a result it’s immaculate. This is one of those homes you must inspect as the photo’s don’t convey its quality and just how roomy and spacious it is.
As you enter the house through the manicured gardens to the main entrance, you’re met with a wide, open hallway that looks down the full length of the house. This leads to a spacious living/dining area and a well-appointed kitchen with stone bench stops and plenty of storage. This space is filled with natural light and leads onto an impressive outdoor alfresco area that can be fully enclosed with sliding doors.

Upstairs is a spacious central lounge area and exceptionally large master suite with expansive ensuite. This bedroom overlooks the park and has a small balcony to enjoy the morning sun. There are two more roomy bedrooms up here with built-ins.

The fourth bedroom is downstairs off the hallway, where you’ll also find another bathroom and laundry.

Outside the home, garden areas grace the northern and eastern sides of the house, which are reticulated. There is direct access through a garden gate to the sweeping parklands and forest trails.

A double auto garage with sealed floor and walk-in workshop space makes this also a dream home for the handy person of the house, along with loft storage for additional space.

This property offers all the advantages a modern home can provide. It’s the perfect place for a family looking for a prestigious home in an outstanding location.

Margaret River overview

The townsite of Margaret River is located in the south west agricultural area, 277 kilometres south southwest of Perth and 48 kilometres south southwest of Busselton. It is located on the Margaret River from which it derives its name. The precise origin of the naming of the river is not known, but it was possibly named by John Bussell in honour of Margaret Wyche, a friend in England who was expected to follow the Bussell's to Australia. The name is first shown on a map of the region published in 1839.

In 1910 the Margaret River Progress Association wrote to the Minister for Lands requesting a townsite be declared at "the Upper Margaret Bridge". The reason given was that "the district is likely to be dotted with public buildings several miles apart in the near future if a townsite is not made available shortly". The District Surveyor who inspected the area preferred an area near the lower bridge on Caves Road, but this land was not available. Lots were surveyed in 1912, and the Townsite of Margaret River gazetted in 1913. In 1918 the name of the townsite was changed to "Margaret", but it was changed back to Margaret River in 1927, due to local usage of the name always being Margaret River.
