Charmingly Yours

It’s a case of “much more than meets the eye” as far as this delightful 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home is concerned, conveniently nestled only walking distance away from a plethora of lush local parklands, playgrounds for the young ones and several bus stops.

Welcoming you inside is a carpeted front lounge room the exudes cosiness and leads through to the dining area and a stylishly-updated kitchen with double sinks, electric-cooktop and oven appliances, ample storage space and more. There is also extra built-in custom storage, only a matter of inches away.

A massive family/games room is charmed by original brickwork and warmed by a burning wood-burner fireplace, doubling as the perfect second living zone. Off here sits an enormous indoor-outdoor patio-entertaining area with its own pot-belly wood fireplace, as well as direct access out to the yard and garden.

The private backyard-lawn area is lovely and is great for kids and pets to run around on. A huge workshop shed is the icing on the cake – and is every “tradie’s” dream. Back inside, all three bedrooms are carpeted for comfort, inclusive of the larger master – complete with a walk-in wardrobe for good measure.

You will also love the property’s very close proximity to Woodlupine Primary School, Dawson Park Primary School, Forrestfield Shopping Centre, medical facilities, restaurants, the stunning Hartfield Park community sporting complex and Hartfield Golf Course. Major arterial roads, spectacular National Parks and the new Forrestfield-Airport public-transport link are also nearby, making this outstanding location even more appealing. How wonderful!

Forrestfield overview

Forrestfield is a suburb of the City of kalamunda and is 15 kilometres of the south-east of Perth. Local folklore suggests that the name comes from Charles Hale who settled here in 1902 and planted a crop amongst the trees. A neighbour referred to him wanting a forest and a field at the same time and the name was later applied to the area. A Forrest Field Progress Association was formed as early as 1927 and the name is shown on plans as Forrestfield for 1944.

Life in Forrestfield

Forrestfield is home to the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre which includes an indoor stadium for various sports, an 18-hole golf course, equestrian centre, nature park and lake. The main shopping centre known as the 'Forrestfield Forum and Marketplace' is home to 52 stores. There are a range of other retail establishments scattered throughout the area.

There are also a range of primary and secondary schools in the area and construction is currently underway on the  Forrestfield-Airport Link which is scheduled to open in 2021 and will connect Perth Airport with the city. A Forrestfield train station is included in this development.
