This pretty and historic WHEELWRIGHT Road address with its cascading CREEK on a lush 2204sqm block offers up this FARMHOUSE style property, just take a moment as you wander down the COUNTRY LANE and drink in the FRAGRANCE of the pretty gardens with daisies, bulbs, jasmine, lilies, nasturtium and the blossom bursting into Spring splendour while enjoying the chorus of the FROGS heralding a healthy environment and the chatter of the BIRD LIFE.

Take another moment at the quaint STONE BRIDGE and absorb the ions from the rushing water. It is claimed that "research supports exposure to NEGATIVE IONS which can reduce symptoms of depression for some people, have an ACTIVATING influence on some body systems and cognitive performance and promote antimicrobial activity. The best way to get negative ions is to go to where they exist naturally including stepping outside in the rain or visit a waterfall, CREEK, riverbank or beach."

This handsome elevated HOMESTEAD is welcoming with its wrap VERANDAHS and is generous and robust with VAULTED ceilings giving space & grace. The Kitchen hub invites gatherings of the family and spills to the bar and verandahs for ENTERTAINING flow or back up to the slow combustion fire on these cool Spring days. The home has great ZONING in both living and bedroom accommodation for family HARMONY or PARTY TIME while the Master Bedroom enjoys a verandah aspect. The 3 bedrooms at the rear are serviced by their own bathroom and YES, we have an ACTIVITY Room for the KIDS ZONE plus a STUDY or NURSERY which is well located to the Master Bedroom.

With our Farmhouse Character, I fully expect your Wellington or Blunnies (Blundstone) Boots may be on the Christmas List this year. A great property to raise families through the decades, where the kiddies can run and run, kick the FOOTY or play CRICKET on the driveway and the ALFRESCO zone at the rear has enjoyed many teen gatherings and in Summer this may have culminated in a refreshing dip in the POOL (with spa jets) in the 'top paddock'. After school the kids can do their 'chores' and feed the chooks, collect the EGGS and gorge on the myriad of FRUIT including mulberries, orange, granny smith apples, apricots, loquats depending on the Season and make lemonade from the lemonade and lemon trees. The good life !

The double Carport at the house is complimented by a powered WORKSHOP (or double garaging) and extra parking spaces are available for the trailer and additional vehicles, tick tick!

We enjoy close proximity to highly regarded Mazenod College, St Brigids College, Lesmurdie Primary School, Bus Services, Ray Owen Sporting Complex and Shops. NB there are 'SHORT CUT' footpaths from Wheelwright Road through Gilroy and Goodall to Lesmurdie Primary School, Sanderson Road Shopping Village and Mazenod College. This proximity to all these great facilities has the potential to EASE the STRESS in your life.

If you are seeking a quality package with a farmhouse vibe, I would recommend your early attention. Please call Pamela Abraham on 0409 581 008 for more information or to book your inspection.

Lesmurdie overview

Like Kalamunda, the development of the "Lesmurdie" area is closely tied to the exploitation of the Jarrah forest in the region by the Canning Jarrah Timber Company Ltd. In 1897, Mr Archibald Sanderson, a Perth journalist commenced the acquisition of a number of these properties, with a view to building up a "rural retreat" and he named his property "Lesmurdie". Lesmurdie Cottage was a shooting-box in Banffshire, Scotland, near Dufftown and was let to Mr Sanderson's father for shooting. It was in memory of this cottage that Sanderson applied the name to his property.
