Whether you're a first home buyer or an investor, this property is a marvellous opportunity for a well-priced and well-located home in gorgeous Darlington. Built in the mid-70's, this home has only had one owner and they've taken great care of it since then, which is why it presents so well now and offers an authentic 70's vibe that you can either work with or completely renovate. Best of all, the big half-acre block provides beautiful bushland surrounds and a treetop vista that can be enjoyed from under the pergola.
The split level design of this home offers interesting elements such as sunken rooms and balustrades that can be incorporated into an ultra-modern makeover or left as is for that timeless charm that comes with them. The big built-in wardrobe to the main bedroom makes storage simple, and while the house itself isn't huge, it's comfortably sized and there's still room to move. The sweet kitchen is perfectly useable and in tip top condition, so if you enjoy simple pleasures like a cup of tea and the odd scone, you'll be right at home here.

The name "Darlington" is derived from adding the English suffix "ton", meaning "town" to the name of the range in the area - Darling Range which was first named "General Darling Range". The name was first used by Dr Alfred Waylen who established the "Darlington Vineyard" here in 1883-4.
Darlington remains one of the few locations in the Perth hills with an early 20th century village ambience. It is known for its vibrant community with seemingly as many committees and groups as it has residents. The suburb has a local general store however residents rely on the the facilities at Midland and Mundaring which are close by. There are also various primary and secondary schools in the area.
