Facing a beautiful natural reserve and only a short stroll to the sensational Murray River, this idyllic setting offers outstanding relaxation for the family, with the wonderful home spanning two levels of living space, including complete comfort throughout and a variety of sought after added extras. Set upon a vast 833sqm block, you have extensive parking potential with a choice of undercover options, two driveways and even side access that leads to a large, powered workshop, while the gardens provide plenty of room to entertain beneath the considerable and sheltered alfresco. The lower level provides a welcoming appeal, with a large informal family living area, alongside the dining and kitchen, while an activity space and study sits to the front, with three spacious bedrooms and the main bathroom included on this floor. Upstairs, you have the grand master suite, with a separate living area or parents retreat, and a possible 5th bedroom, dressing area or office, while a generous balcony extends out to look across the reserve opposite and offer a peaceful space to rest and relax. The much-loved Ravenswood Hotel is easily within strolling distance, with handy boat ramp access equally close by for endless recreational enjoyment upon the water, while a choice of retail and educational facilities can be found nearby within the surrounding areas of both Mandurah and Pinjarra, with the Forrest Highway ensuring easy access across the neighbouring suburbs and into Perth itself.

Offering a striking façade, the appeal is instant with dual driveways either side of the property and a lawned area to the centre beyond privacy hedging, while the reserve opposite ensures a peaceful setting and no forward neighbour. To the right, you have a double sheltered carport and side gate access to the backyard, with the left offering a second and extra height carport that’s ideal for the boat or caravan, with another set of gates beyond, while other benefits include full reticulation throughout, a solar panel system and Crimsafe security doors to all. A sheltered verandah provides the first of many spots to sit, before entering the home and into the modern and bright interior, with plantation shutters across the residence and striking timber effect flooring throughout, while your winding staircase draws your eye upward for a true sense of space. Immediately to the right, you have a home office or mudroom that continues around the corner and into a lounge area, playroom or activity space, before opening out into the vast family living zone beyond. Large enough for a lounge and dining area, the main family hub provides direct alfresco access, with plenty of room for relaxation within, while the kitchen provides in-built dual ovens and a gas cooktop, ample cabinetry including a double pantry and a wraparound benchtop with breakfast bar seating.

Three well-spaced bedrooms are placed to the lower level within a private setting beyond sliding door access, with carpeted flooring and built-in robes for storage, with the central and updated bathroom providing a walk-in shower with glass screening, large vanity and private WC. And the laundry offers both cabinetry and counterspace with additional stowage found within a double linen closet and under stair storage to the hallway.

Moving to the upper level, you enter into another living space that’s ideal as a parent’s retreat, or just an additional area to relax, with both the ducted reverse cycle air conditioning that extends throughout, and an added split system unit for absolute comfort, while sliding doors offer access to a sweeping balcony with that picturesque natural vista opposite for the ultimate area to rest or entertain. An arched entry with dual sliding doors provides a flexible area to use as best suits your needs, with a potential 5th bedroom, nursery, dressing area or even an office all fantastic examples, with a triple built-in robe included. The master suite is oversized with a wonderful bay window to enjoy those views, plus another effective split system air conditioning unit, with walk-in robe space and an ensuite with dual vanities, and a separate shower room with WC.

A spacious alfresco extends along the rear of the property, with pull down blinds for extended use and a flat roof for shelter from the elements, while the concrete flooring wraps around the home for additional hardstand parking and access beyond both sets of side gates. The powered workshop sits to the rear of the backyard with ample access to the front and a choice of roller door entry, with its very own built-in bar, a mezzanine level for storage, and a separate switchboard for power. And finally, the remainder of the garden is lawned, with well-maintained tropical planting and all fully fenced for peace of mind.

And the reason why this property is your perfect fit? Because this perfectly placed property offers exceptional living options amid a wealth of added benefits that are sure to appeal to many.

Ravenswood overview

The townsite of Ravenswood is located in the south west region, 83 km south of Perth and 8 km south east of Mandurah. It is located on a bend in the Murray River, and was originally the name of a property taken up in this area by Adam Armstrong in the 1840's. Armstrong's property was known as "Ravenswood Farm". Ravenswood was known as a locality as early as 1895, and following private subdivision in the area in the 1960's the Shire of Murray requested the declaration of a townsite. The townsite of Ravenswood was gazetted in 1970.
