A surprisingly-spectacular outlook headlines this terrific 3 bedroom 2 bathroom two-level residence that encourages stress-free low-maintenance “lock-up-and-leave” living, from its highly-desirable and ultra-convenient location.
Downstairs, there is a separate dining room – off the open-plan living and kitchen area that boasts split-system air-conditioning, gas bayonet for heating, built-in study nook/drop-zone with a desk, storage pantry, double sinks, microwave nook, tiled splashbacks, dishwasher and modern stainless-steel range-hood, gas-cooktop and oven appliances.
Upstairs, stunning city-skyline and Optus Stadium views from the most delightful of covered balconies is simply an added bonus. The sweeping vista is also prevalent from within the connecting retreat, that has its own gas bayonet for winter heating. A sleek white main bathroom caters for everybody’s personal needs in the form of a shower and separate bath, whilst the master suite is the obvious pick of the bedrooms – complete with direct balcony access, mirrored sliding doors compliment the built-in wardrobe, finished with an intimate ensuite with shower, vanity and toilet access.
At the rear, a lovely shaded pergola area encourages private outdoor entertaining, off the living space. There is also plenty of scope to grow your own herbs and vegetables across four separate garden beds, if you are that way inclined.
Walk down to the bottom of the street to discover the lush green Berringa Park and the amazing Maylands Peninsula Public Golf Course alongside our beautiful Swan River, with the Maylands Jetty and the Maylands Tennis and Yacht Clubs also nearby and very much within arm’s reach themselves.
Additionally, the likes of The RISE recreation centre, shopping and medical facilities, trendy cafes and restaurants, bus stops, Maylands Train Station, outstanding schools (including Maylands Peninsula Primary School), the city, Ascot Racecourse, Perth Airport, our world-class Optus Stadium at Burswood and the famous Crown entertainment and casino complex are all just a matter of minutes away in their own right. Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.
The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.
Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
