Reasons To Call This Home
Beach on one side, bushland on the other and a charming place to call home right in the sweet spot — this delightful 3 bedroom 2 bathroom front villa has relaxed coastal living written all over it. Light, comfortable and extremely easy to enjoy, it brings an effortless sense of calm to the everyday, with its prized position in the group adding another layer of independence and appeal. A spacious and paved entry courtyard doubles as your private and breezy entertaining area, before you even step foot inside. High raked ceilings and character brickwork grace a generous front living room, along with stylish light fittings and split-system air-conditioning for climate control.
A carpeted dining area is kept cool by a ceiling fan, whilst the tiled kitchen has been cleverly updated to include sleek stone bench tops, a storage pantry, tiled splashbacks, microwave and appliance nooks, a water-filter tap, a white Asko dishwasher, an electric cooktop, a separate oven and a skylight for natural illumination. Adjacent to the kitchen is a carpeted family (or second living) room – with a ceiling fan. A huge enclosed indoor-outdoor sunroom – with tiled flooring – encourages further entertaining all year round, with an under-cover clothesline essentially making it a drying area, as well.
All three carpeted bedrooms have ceiling fans, with the larger master suite boasting high raked ceilings, a walk-in wardrobe and a neutral ensuite bathroom – powder vanity, under-bench storage, toilet, shower and all. The spare bedrooms have respective double-door and single-door built-in robes, whilst the light-filled main bathroom features a modern stone-vanity basin with under-bench cupboard storage. The separate laundry comprises of further built-in storage and direct sunroom access, to the clothesline.

The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run". The suburb was originally set aside as a timber reserve in the 1860s and then as a quarantine area for camels entering in the 1890s. A number of orchards operated in the area with the only evidence that remains today an old olive tree on Hope Street.
Residential styles in North Beach include a mix of holiday dwellings from before and after World War II, some former workers' houses, and modern dwellings. As a residential suburb, North Beach has small shopping areas on the coast and at Flora Terrace and Castle Street which offer basic commercial services. The suburb features a tennis club and has two primary schools - North Beach Primary School and Our Lady of Grace School.
