Stretching across three quarters of an acre close to town we find this private parcel of Margaret River peace and tranquillity. Hidden away in the established grounds, the delightfully comfortable home enjoys extended views across the expansive and highly productive backyard to the treetops of the Yalgardup Creek Valley beyond.
Fully fenced and gated, the property has ready access via the wide, level driveway into the double carport as well as side access to the shed and through to the massive backyard.
The gorgeous front garden welcomes you into the property, and entry to the home is via a sheltered front porch that also offers a beautifully sunny sitting spot in winter, and shady spot in summer thanks to the wisteria. As you step inside the stunning living space you'll be drawn to the spectacular outlook, and everyone will fight over doing the dishes when you see the view through the kitchen windows! This central hub is a happy space to be, and there's a very spacious lounge/multi-purpose room off to the side. This room has the benefit of access from the carport as well as sliding doors to the outdoor entertaining area.
When everyone isn't gathering around the central kitchen they'll be hanging out on the truly epic deck - with a pitched roof, roll down café blinds and plenty of room for couches and tables you'll find yourself spending many hours out here at all times of the day and year.
The fabulous grounds stretch out beyond the deck and include an expanse of lawn for fun and games (including cubby); raised veggie beds, hidden behind hedges, in an enclosure to protect your crops from birds and other wildlife; and there is also a large orchard that's fully enclosed so you may harvest the fruits of your labours!
Accommodating family and friends is easy with the home having 4 bedrooms (one as an office) and two bathrooms, and there's a studio room detached from the house that has a brilliant new bathroom, plumbing for a kitchenette to be added if desired, and views across the gardens.
Is there room for caravans, boats and trailers? YES! There's room for 4 cars inside the gate on the hardstand near the house, and there's also plenty of room on the other side of the house as well as inside the decent garage/shed. This side access also takes you past the shed and studio and through to the backyard.
Ideally located in one of Margaret River's most exclusive streets, the nearest restaurant is an easy 10 minute walk away, and it's just over 2km to the top of the vibrant Margaret River Main Street.

The townsite of Margaret River is located in the south west agricultural area, 277 kilometres south southwest of Perth and 48 kilometres south southwest of Busselton. It is located on the Margaret River from which it derives its name. The precise origin of the naming of the river is not known, but it was possibly named by John Bussell in honour of Margaret Wyche, a friend in England who was expected to follow the Bussell's to Australia. The name is first shown on a map of the region published in 1839.
In 1910 the Margaret River Progress Association wrote to the Minister for Lands requesting a townsite be declared at "the Upper Margaret Bridge". The reason given was that "the district is likely to be dotted with public buildings several miles apart in the near future if a townsite is not made available shortly". The District Surveyor who inspected the area preferred an area near the lower bridge on Caves Road, but this land was not available. Lots were surveyed in 1912, and the Townsite of Margaret River gazetted in 1913. In 1918 the name of the townsite was changed to "Margaret", but it was changed back to Margaret River in 1927, due to local usage of the name always being Margaret River.
