There's a special kind of quiet that settles over Yallambee Village - the gentle rustle of native trees, the soft glow of afternoon light across the gardens, and the unmistakable sense that you've arrived somewhere peaceful. This beautifully renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom home sits right at the heart of that tranquillity, offering a warm, welcoming space where life slows down and comfort takes centre stage.
Step inside and you'll immediately feel the freshness. New paint and carpet, everything has been thoughtfully updated to create a home that feels calm, clean and ready for you. The open plan living and dining area invites natural light in, while the brand new kitchen and bathroom/laundry add a touch of modern ease to everyday living. With reverse cycle air conditioning, front and rear verandas and your own carport, this is a home designed for effortless comfort.
But it's the village itself that truly captures the heart.
Operated by Baptistcare and embraced by the natural beauty of Perth's Eastern Hills, Yallambee Village is a place where residents feel connected - to nature, to each other, and to the rhythm of a quieter life. Many say the bushland setting is what they love most: the morning birdsong, the shaded walkways lit softly at night, the sense of space and serenity that's hard to find elsewhere.
For those who enjoy staying active and social, the village offers a large communal function room that hosts a variety of activities and gatherings. And when you want to venture out, Mundaring's cafés, shops, medical services, chemists and library are all just a short, easy walk away.
This is more than a home - it's a lifestyle shaped by peace, community and the beauty of nature.

Permanent settlement in Mundaring began in 1882-84 when Mr Peter Gugeri established a vineyard south of the Eastern Railway. The first railway siding at Mundaring was named after him and for some years the area was generally known as "Gugeris". A later settler, M H Jacoby, took over Gugeris' vineyards in 1893, and named the business the "Mundaring Vineyard Company". The name came from an Aboriginal camp situated nearby and the meaning given to Jacoby by the aborigines was "a high place on a high place". The correct pronunciation was "Mundahring" but common usage has gradually converted this to "Mundairing".
Known as the heart of the Perth hills, Mundaring is located on the eastern edge of the Perth Hills. It offers stunning walking and cycling trails, spectacular state forest and national parks and home to the historic Mundaring Weir. Other facilities include two primary schools (Sacred Heart School and Mundaring Primary School) and one secondary school (Mundaring Christian College).
