OH SO CENTRAL

There are certain pockets in Pinjarra where properties come up for sale on very rare occasions and Murray Street between Pinjarra Road and Peel Street is certainly one of those pockets! The central hub of Pinjarra and this property is right in the thick of it.

Being where it is you have the freedom of town centre zoning, you can live there, you can work there, you can put another business in there, your choice! All while being metres to all Pinjarra has to offer!

A huge 1122m2 of land in this prime position is enough to get anyone excited, but there is also a 2x1 home that is basic but neat and would you believe has been in the same family for over 60 years! Huge front lounge, decent shed, good fencing, there is lots to like about this house and yard as well!

With a central location and the freedom/opportunity of town centre zoning this property is a very rare opportunity and well worth a look!

Pinjarra overview

The townsite of Pinjarra is located in the south west agricultural region, 87 km south of Perth and 21 km south east of Mandurah. It is located near a ford over the Murray River, and land was reserved for a townsite here in 1831. Surveys were carried out in 1836 and land allocated to settlers in 1837. The name was often shown spelt "Pinjarrup" on early maps, and the accepted spelling for many years was "Pinjarrah". There are conflicting theories regarding the meaningof this Aboriginal name. It is usually said to mean "place of a swamp", but it is more likely named after the "Pindjarup" tribe, the Aboriginal group that frequented this area.
