Spacious Sanctuary Wrapped in Nature

Every return home feels different here. The world softens. The pace slows. Light spills through wide windows and dances across gleaming Jarrah floorboards, welcoming you back to your own private sanctuary in the Hills.

Mornings arrive gently as dawn filters through surrounding gums, turning even weekdays into something special. Children roam freely across the expansive block, pets explore, and you sip tea on the verandah while the land itself seems to exhale with you. This is a home that recalibrates family life - where you can breathe deeper, stretch out, and truly settle in.

Step inside and you'll immediately feel the warmth and character that only a well-loved Hills home can offer. This isn't a sterile showpiece - it's a residence with heart. The Jarrah floors hold stories, the timber kitchen beats at the centre of the home, and the crackling Jarrahdale fireplace invites everyone to unwind on cooler evenings.

The generous kitchen, complete with timber cabinetry, ample bench space, gas cooktop, wall oven and dishwasher, overlooks the native gardens and connects seamlessly to the main living zone - a spacious, light-filled area designed for real family living. Downlights shimmer softly overhead, while ducted air conditioning ensures year-round comfort.
Four well-proportioned bedrooms provide space for everyone, with the primary suite offering a walk-in robe and a private ensuite featuring a sunken bath - your own peaceful retreat at day's end.

Mundaring overview

Permanent settlement in Mundaring began in 1882-84 when Mr Peter Gugeri established a vineyard south of the Eastern Railway. The first railway siding at Mundaring was named after him and for some years the area was generally known as "Gugeris". A later settler, M H Jacoby, took over Gugeris' vineyards in 1893, and named the business the "Mundaring Vineyard Company". The name came from an Aboriginal camp situated nearby and the meaning given to Jacoby by the aborigines was "a high place on a high place". The correct pronunciation was "Mundahring" but common usage has gradually converted this to "Mundairing".
