Big Block Living with Room to Dream - 2,023sqm in the Heart of Mundijong

Looking for a little more space without giving up convenience? Welcome to this charming three-bedroom home set on a generous 2,023sqm block in the heart of Mundijong-a place where country-style living meets exciting future potential.

Mundijong has long been loved for its relaxed atmosphere, friendly community and wide-open spaces. Behind its peaceful charm, however, the suburb is continuing to evolve, making this an exciting opportunity to secure a sizeable parcel of land within an area identified for future development under the Urban Development Cell F3 Mundijong Structure Plan.

For now, simply enjoy everything that comes with having room to spread out. Whether it's kids kicking the footy, pets roaming freely, parking the caravan and trailer, tinkering in the workshop, or growing your own vegetables, this is the kind of backyard that's becoming increasingly hard to find.

Inside, the home offers comfortable everyday living with three bedrooms, a welcoming lounge and an updated kitchen featuring stone benchtops, overhead cabinetry, a built-in rangehood and electric cooktop. Stone benchtops continue through to the bathroom, while a cosy woodfire heater and two split-system air conditioners keep the home comfortable throughout the seasons.

Step outside and you'll discover even more to love. A powered workshop with a concrete floor is perfect for tradies or hobbyists, while the covered spa area, patio and multiple sheds provide plenty of space to relax, entertain and store all the extras. Established gardens, mature trees, multiple water tanks, a garden bore and even a chook house complete the picture of relaxed acreage-style living.

Mundijong overview

Mundijong was originally named Jarrahdale Junction. It was at the junction of the Rockingham-Jarrahdale line and the government line from Perth to Bunbury which was built in 1893. A town grew up around the junction, and a timber depot which included a large planing mill was constructed. The town was first declared as "Manjedal" in 1893 as it was thought to be the Aboriginal name of the area. In 1897 this was found to be incorrect, and the name was changed to Mundijong.
