What we love
Stunningly split over three levels, this amazing 4 bedroom 2 bathroom family entertainer by Riverstone Custom Homes is a modern masterpiece that has been exquisitely designed to provide a seamless transition between internal and external living. A distinctive façade will leave you in absolute awe, as will its contemporary, coastal aesthetic, graced by crisp, clean lines. The front yard is securely fenced and gated for peace of mind, with striking stone feature walls flawlessly fused together with a large balcony to make a statement upon entry.

Inside, the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is centrally located to balance the breathtaking ocean views at the front – and a vista of the alfresco (complete with a wood-burner fireplace, a television, sonos speakers, a double-height roof, an outdoor barbecue kitchen and a servery window off the scullery) and a shimmering 15-metre-long concrete, heated, fully tiled lap pool with motorised remote controlled Remco in floor pool cover and a relaxing poolside “vergola” cabana at the rear. The classy kitchen itself is more than generous in its proportions and impressively boasts sleek white island and stone bench tops, traditional wood finishes with black accents, integrated Miele appliances and a seamless flow out to the magnificent entertaining space. Additionally, cavity sliding doors have been installed throughout to create separation when required, with the unique floor plan giving every member of the family their own personal zone – inclusive of a parents' retreat to the front of the house and the minor bedrooms that are nestled at the back.

The sumptuous master suite benefits from balcony access to for a sweeping outlook towards the coastline, alongside a huge fitted walk-in wardrobe and an exemplary ensuite bathroom – plentiful storage options, free-standing bathtub and all. The three spacious spare bedrooms all enjoy the luxury of their own walk-in robes and access doors to the exterior – and are serviced by the main family bathroom, a powder room and a well-appointed laundry. The residence has also been future-proofed with the inclusion of a lift well, with an upstairs study and parents retreat lounge (with stacking windows to let those sensual sea breezes filter in) and balcony completing what truly is a home like no other.

What to know
Extras include engineered wooden floorboards, Italian terrazzo tiles, custom built-in cabinetry, fully tinted windows throughout and selective double glazing, ducted air-conditioning with feature linear vents, white plantation window shutters, down lights, an intercom, CCTV and security system, motorised blinds and full home automation via Control4, 10kw solar system, skirting boards, low-maintenance, landscaped gardens, outdoor hot & cold shower and a large 4 car garage, high 36c garage ceiling, large garage storage with built in cabinetry, fully racked wine cellar, with dual double roller doors – as well as additional secure driveway parking space that precedes it.

North Beach overview

The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run". The suburb was originally set aside as a timber reserve in the 1860s and then as a quarantine area for camels entering in the 1890s. A number of orchards operated in the area with the only evidence that remains today an old olive tree on Hope Street.

Life in North Beach

Residential styles in North Beach include a mix of holiday dwellings from before and after World War II, some former workers' houses, and modern dwellings. As a residential suburb, North Beach has small shopping areas on the coast and at Flora Terrace and Castle Street which offer basic commercial services. The suburb features a tennis club and has two primary schools - North Beach Primary School and Our Lady of Grace School.
