This is the ideal set-up and the type of property people ask us about all the time. Something that needs some work - but not too much, located near cool things, and something with AWESOME development potential.
Introducing the amazing 327 Kalamunda Road! Built around 1969, and one of the last homes built in this style with solid timber floors, this 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home has had an extension giving it a massive second living space too.
It sits on a whopper 883sqm block with dual zoning of R12.5/30 so there is the potential to develop this as a retain and build (you would need to remove the garage to make way for a driveway).
The home has already had a ceiling replacement in the main living area, but a couple of the bedrooms could do with the same upgrade. We believe though that with done, and the possible liberation of the floorboards by removing the old carpet, you will have yourself a beautiful family home.
Maida Vale primary school is across the road, as well as the golf course and potentially very soon, a shopping centre too if the proposed plans go ahead.
This is definitely an opportunity and one that we recommend you act on. We literally have a waiting list of people waiting for homes like this but wanted to give everyone an equal chance to see it.

This area was first settled in 1873 by William Henry Mead. He built a home in the Ridge Hill area, and established an orchard named "Orangedale". The name of Maida Vale was chosen as the district name by a public meeting of local residents in 1910, and comes from the property name of another early settler, Mr W H McCormack. It is assumed that the name was derived from that of the west London suburb of this name, which in turn is named after Maida (S. Pietro di Maida) in Calabria, Italy. The British Army defeated the French there in 1806, and in commemoration of the victory Maida Hall and Maida Vale were named.
Within the suburb there is a primary school, Maida Vale Primary School, a golf course, numerous parks/ovals, small shops, and a heated swimming pool. Maida Vale retains areas of natural bushland and is not completely built-up with housing.
